Youth Pastor

Indian Lake Peninsula Church is searching for the next Youth Pastor.  This full-time position will lead youth from 6th to 12th grade as well as be a major contributor to the pastoral leadership of ILPC, not just in Youth Ministry.

The Youth Pastor will:

• Lead through a pastoral role to the community
• Have a passion for Youth, leading others and developing relationships
• Demonstrate a solid, biblical discipleship theology
• Cultivate a team of other leaders in youth ministry.

Qualifications

• Have a clear vision and philosophy of ministry that is Biblical
• Highly relational and desire to build relationships throughout the church and Hendersonville Area
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing, verbally and giving directions in all areas of ministry
• Pastoral Heart for discipleship and evangelism
• Prior experience in Youth Ministry 

Youth Ministry

• Display a Christ-like approach and lifestyle as an example to others
• Design, coordinate, schedule and implement youth discipleship through teach and curriculum
• Develop relationships with Students, their families and those who impact students (Coaches and Teachers, small group leaders)
• Oversee and encourage volunteer leaders to assist in youth ministry
• Work in partnership with Pastoral Leadership Team to lead in all areas of ILPC

Other Areas

• Be a participate in other church ministries, including small groups, worship and group meetings
• Be an example in all areas of Christian Walk to the church and community
• Be willing to take on additional duties, based upon strengths to grow God’s Kingdom
