NextGen Pastor

Cross Community Church believes in doing whatever it takes to reach people who are far from God and lead them to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The NextGen Pastor will be responsible for leading the student ministry (grades 6-12) and young adult ministry (ages 18-29). This position will manage programming, volunteer recruitment, and team development for both ministries. Additionally, as a member of the pastoral team, this role will support leadership in preaching and fulfilling pastoral responsibilities for families. 

Salary: 50-60k

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the student ministry grades 6th - 12th, including mid-week gathering and special events
• Shepherd students by providing spiritual direction
• Integrate students into the larger body of the church. Students should be active on serve teams, outreaches, and church-wide events
• Develop volunteer leaders for student ministry and foster engagement from parents
• Launch a young adult ministry (18 - 29 years)
• Lead young adult life groups & plan events throughout the year
• Promote young adult involvement in the life of the church
• Create fun and engaging environments
• Support the vision of CCC, it’s Senior Pastor & Governing Board
