Associate Pastor of Worship/Media
We are looking for a passionate Associate Pastor of Worship/Media to help us lead the way in our community! At FBC Parsons, we believe that worship is a way of living that encompasses every aspect of our lives – not just something that happens in the Auditorium. Here, the Worship Pastor helps lead our congregation to make bold declarations of faith, hope, and power through song and helps lead our church to live out Truth every day!
As our future Associate Pastor of Worship/Media, this person will assist in the development, implementation, direction, and promotion of a Worship Ministry that is relevant to our congregation and to the wider community. The Associate Pastor of Worship/Media will serve as a primary worship leader that will include Sunday services, other services as assigned and assist the FBC Students services team. This person will work closely with the other FBC Parsons staff and partner with the volunteers including the platform worship team, choir, and production team to execute worship experiences in various environments. This person will share responsibility for the spiritual health and musical development of the teams within his care.

To lead efficiently with us you must:
- Illustrate effectiveness in leading worship from a primary instrument like guitar or piano
- Believe wholeheartedly that the role of a pastor is to equip others to lead out in ministry by recruiting, training, building and maintaining a worship team
- Provide a highlight reel of you leading worship from the stage
It would be incredible if you:
- Have technical experience in Multi-tracks programming or something similar
- Possess a working knowledge of ProPresenter and Planning Center Online
Educational requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

We're looking for a man, called of God to lead others into the presence of the Lord, through worship and music to serve as the full-time Associate Pastor of Worship and Media at First Baptist Church Parsons, TN. That man will be part of a staff of like-minded ministers who are willing and eager to shepherd the flock among them and equip the saints for the work of ministry.
FBC’S Story: The story of FBC Parsons Church began in the year 1890 in a home with 14 people attending. By God’s grace and power, our faith family has grown into a dynamic church. Weekly we serve over 300 people, but we celebrate stories of life change one person at a time.
Parsons, TN: As a river community just east of Jackson, TN and halfway between Nashville and Memphis, our rural area and roots hold true to small town hospitality. Excellent schools, great parks, a warm inviting area where you can raise a family with a great Southern charm makes this community one of the most livable in the South! Our church serves families from the surrounding areas of Decatur, Henderson and Perry counties, and countless other towns and cities within our state.
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time position that expects the Pastor/Ministry to work at least 40 hours per week, including Sundays, rehearsals, and additional planning and preparation time.
- Regular office hours, attendance at weekly staff meetings and special events are expected.
Summary of Critical Duties:
- Pastoring the church through the planning, coordination, operation and evaluation of a comprehensive worship program for the church.
- Coordinate media and production ministry volunteers to provide Audio/Video/Lighting support for church services and events.
- Coordinate the creation, organization, planning and implementation of effective and impactful communication messages and strategies for church and community implementation.
