Job Description: The man God leads to serve as our Family Pastor will play a key role in providing spiritual leadership, guidance, and support to the families within our church community. This position is responsible for overseeing and equipping lay leaders that focus on children, youth, and families, as well as providing pastoral care and counseling as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive family ministry strategy that supports the spiritual growth and development of children, youth, and parents.
• Coordinate and oversee Sunday school classes, children's church, youth group meetings, and family-oriented events and activities.
• Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to serve in various family ministry roles.
• Provide pastoral care to families in times of need, crisis, or transition.
• Collaborate with other church staff members to integrate family ministry initiatives with overall church programs and events.
• Serve as a mentor and spiritual advisor to children, youth, and parents, helping them navigate the challenges of daily life and grow in their faith.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (Master's degree a plus) or commensurate level of job experience in vocational ministry.
• Able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Ordained or seeking ordination as a Southern Baptist minister.
• Strong biblical knowledge and theological understanding, with a commitment to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and leading effective ministry teams.
• A heart for serving others and a passion for helping families grow in their relationship with Christ.
