Worship Pastor Qualifications

Burkemont Baptist Church is searching for a man who has a heart for the Lord and His ministry. We have a blended morning worship service that is theologically sound which honors the Lord.

1. Must be a Christian and give evidence of a divine call to Christian ministry.
2. Must be Southern Baptist and agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
3. Must have musical training and pastoral experience.
4. Partner with the pastoral team and staff in pursuit of the church’s vision.
5. Collaborate with other associational pastors and ministries for Kingdom purposes.
6. Set a Christian example in all areas of life: actions, dress, integrity, and language. 
7. Lead and oversee a comprehensive worship ministry (choirs, drama, and orchestra). 
8. Prepare and administer a worship ministry budget.
9. Preferred knowledge of Planning Center, ProPresenter, and other media software.
