Minister of Music

DeSoto Hills Baptist Church in Southaven, MS, is seeking a full-time Minister of Music to lead and grow our dynamic worship ministry. Our worship style is blended, incorporating a choir, orchestra, and praise team to create a Christ-centered and engaging worship experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead congregational worship services
• Oversee a comprehensive music program, including graded choirs
• Supervise music ministry support staff
• Manage and administer the music ministry budget
• Help with daily ministerial duties

Qualifications:

• A strong calling and passion for leading worship and discipling others through music
• Experience in directing choirs, orchestras, and praise teams
• Organizational and leadership skills to manage a multifaceted music ministry
• A heart for ministry and team collaboration
