Senior Pastor Position – First Baptist Church, McKenzie, TN
First Baptist Church of McKenzie, Tennessee, is prayerfully seeking an experienced Senior Pastor to lead our congregation in faithful service and spiritual growth. We are a vibrant and healthy Southern Baptist church with a strong foundation and a passion for missions, evangelism, and discipleship.
Our ideal candidate is a God-called leader with a deep commitment to Scripture and a heart for reaching the lost, rooted in an Acts 1:8 vision. He will lead the church in prayer for our whole congregation. He will be gifted in preaching, teaching, and effective communication, with the ability to shepherd and inspire the entire congregation. A passion for ministering to families and engaging with the next generation is essential, as our church is blessed with a large number of young families and is actively involved in missions locally and globally.
Located in the heart of downtown McKenzie, our church is uniquely positioned near a local university, giving us a special opportunity to impact students and the wider community. As we continue to grow, we are focused on expanding our ministry facilities and deepening our outreach.
