The Children’s Minister will plan, organize and direct the family ministry efforts of the Children’s Ministry by acting as an advocate, role model, mentor and encourager of all children and their families. The position seeks to become personally acquainted with current and potential church families.
This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50 pounds, or the weight of an average child, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows: pushing and/or pulling, climbing, stooping and/or kneeling, reaching, talking, hearing and seeing.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office environment or classroom area. Employee may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
