First Baptist Church Quitman, MS, is a welcoming and friendly multi-generational congregation. We are seeking a seminary-trained, motivated, caring, mission-minded pastor to lead our church that has a heart for God and a desire to grow disciples and followers of Jesus. Looking to expand outside of the church walls, we would like to have a pastor who has a heart for church growth and a desire to reach younger families. We own a parsonage within a mile of the church, but if the candidate desires, we are open to other living arrangements. Although First Baptist Church is located in Quitman School District, we have multiple school districts represented within our church body, and we are supportive of the candidate putting children in another school district if they so desire.
