Living Springs Baptist Church
Living Springs Baptist Church (Southern Baptist Convention) of Mount Juliet, Tennessee is prayerfully seeking to fill the position for its next full-time Senior Pastor. We are a stable congregation, with an approximate attendance of 100 in worship. Living Springs is a relatively young church, established in 1996, and is strategically located between Mt Juliet and Smyrna TN, and is proximate to the growing towns of Murfreesboro and Lebanon, and is 25 miles southeast of Nashville. We are located inRutherford County, one of the fastest growing regions in Tennessee.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3, but preferably 5 years of experience at the senior pastor level or other pastoral experience. He will have an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited Bible College or Seminary. The candidate will have visionary leadership, able to lead the church to a renewed vision for the future. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate God’s Word through solid and biblically based sermons. The candidate should possess a shepherd’s heart, providing pastoral care and relational investment for the membership.The candidate must have the ability to the lead the church on mission to reach the surrounding community – especially young families.
Further Requirements:
- Meets the biblical requirements for pastors (1 Timothy 3:1-7; 2 Timothy 2; Titus 1:5-9)
- A Visionary leader with the ability to discover/develop/ and implement a new vision for LSBC and develop a strategy to carry it out.
- A team player with tactical patience who will work with volunteer leaders.
- A model of servant leadership for the Church.
- Ability to engage in multi-generational ministry.
- Have the capability to lead the church in deeper discipleship and outreach.
- Able to provide administrative leadership and organizational structure in all areas of
church life.
