Senior Pastor

Stewart’s Chapel Baptist Church (SCBC) in Flintville, TN is prayerfully seeking the man that God is calling to be our full-time senior pastor. Stewart’s Chapel Baptist Church is a member of the William Carey Baptist Association, Tennessee Baptist Mission, and Southern Baptist Convention. The church campus has approximately 20,000 sq ft under roof sitting on 7.2 acres with the church office, about 1500sq ft, located across the street. Our average Sunday School attendance is 82. Our average Sunday Worship is 215. Our Wednesday night program is predominantly geared towards the children and teens; however, we do have an adult class that meets.

SCBC is approximately 28 miles north of downtown Huntsville, AL and approximately 107 miles south of downtown Nashville, TN. The community of Flintville is within minutes of the town of Fayetteville, TN and Hazel Green, AL.

• Possess the Biblical qualities described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Matthew 22:37-39
• Believe and adhere to the statements of faith in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Leads as a Shepherd
• Daily lives out the Gospel and obedient to God
• Teacher
• Desires to visit the sick, injured or those in need
• Compassionate
• Boldness in preaching the Gospel Truth (2 Timothy 4:1-5)
• Desires to never compromise the Word of God
• Discernment
• Passion for Missions at home and abroad.
• Tithing Church (individuals and the church)
• No strict adherence to a specific translation, but can have a preference
