Youth Pastor

Youth Pastor (Grades 6–12)

Second Baptist Church of Lancaster is seeking a passionate, relational, and spiritually grounded Youth Pastor to lead and disciple students in grades 6–12. This individual will play a vital role in helping students develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, equipping them to live out their faith, and integrating them into the life of the church.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and teach engaging, biblically sound Bible studies
• Oversee student worship gatherings and experiences
• Develop and lead student programming
• Recruit, train, and equip volunteers for student ministry
• Provide mentoring, discipleship, and pastoral care for students
• Build strong relationships with students and their families
• Partner with parents to help raise the next generation of Christ-followers

Qualifications

• A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• A passion for discipling middle and high school students
• Strong relational and leadership skills
• A commitment to the mission and values of the local church
• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers
