FBC is praying for God's called man who is an ordained pastor and agrees with the Baptist Faith and Message. A man who has a passion for prayer and the Word of God, who is eager and willing to move to Hohenwald obeying God's call to shepherd FBC. We are asking for him to have a passion for disciplemaking, locally and globally, desiring to be with his sheep, loving, feeding, caring for and equipping them to serve. We are not a traditional SBC and are involved internationally. We have a blended worship style. We have a SS attendance of 100+ and worship service of 200. We prefer some seminary and require some experience with a multi-staff church. Ultimately we desire a man after God's own heart.
Hohenwald is a county seat town of 4000, attracting people from all over the United States. It has an abundance of outdoor and community activities of all ages. It is surrounded by God's creation of streams, rivers, lakes, and forest. It has a excellent school system and has just built a new high school opening this fall.
