Church History
Warren Community Church began as a simple yet faithful vision when Ken Culver and his wife, Jan, opened their home for a weekly Bible study that met every Tuesday evening. The first gathering took place on August 10, 1999. As the group grew in number and unity, a shared calling emerged-to establish a new church rooted in Scripture, community, and service.
With prayerful planning and anticipation, the church officially launched on April 23, 2000, meeting at Fayette Academy, a local private school. Just two years later, in 2002, Warren Community Church moved to its current location on Highway 64, a central thoroughfare running through Fayette County. Situated on approximately 13 acres in the heart of the county, the campus provides both visibility and accessibility for ministry.
The church facility is a 32,000-square-foot, single-level building designed to support worship, fellowship, and outreach. It includes 13 classrooms, a fellowship hall, a full kitchen, and a large multipurpose sanctuary that also serves as a gymnasium and basketball court. The property offers more than 170 parking spaces and includes a large storage building. In August 2021, the church celebrated a significant milestone when the facility was fully paid off, making Warren Community Church debt-free.
Today, Warren Community Church is widely recognized as a church that serves-both within the local community and beyond.
With a dedicated staff, excellent facilities, and a congregation that deeply loves God and people, the church is well positioned to continue growing and advancing its mission under faithful leadership in Fayette County and wherever God leads.
