Senior Pastor

Bovina Baptist Church in Vicksburg, Mississippi is prayerfully searching for the senior pastor that God is preparing for us. Bovina Baptist is a special place with people who love Jesus and have a heart for worship. The family atmosphere of our church is our greatest strength and provides a warm and inviting experience of connection. Our staff includes a Senior Pastor (current job posting), Associate Pastor of Families, Minister of Music, Children’s Coordinator, and Church Secretary. 

Our mission is to share the gospel with the community and the world, thus we seek a man of God to lead us in the following ways:

• Preach the inerrant Word of God
• Evangelize those needing Christ
• Teach, train, and disciple 
• Live out Godly standards (I Timothy 3: 1-7)
• Minister to and love people

REQUIREMENTS

• Education– Bachelor’s degree and Master’s of Divinity preferred
• Experience– Minimum of 5 years in ministry with 10 years preferred
• Other– Licensed and ordained
